1. Visit city/gun/gu offices, community centers, and vehicle registration offices 좋은뉴스
If you would like to visit and get your vehicle registration reissued in person, you can go to the city/gun/gu office, community center, or the nearest vehicle registration office. A representative may also apply when applying in person.
If you have a vehicle in your name, you need to bring your ID, but if your vehicle is in the name of a family member, you will also need an ID.
If the vehicle is jointly named, both IDs are required. A power of attorney is required if the joint nominee is not a family member.
When applying by a representative, you can visit us with a copy of the vehicle owner’s identification card, power of attorney, and identification of the representative.

2. Apply online on the Government24 website and issue offline
One of the places where you can apply for a vehicle registration certificate renewal online is at Government24. Since most of the civil complaints are handled, many of you must have signed up for membership, so I will explain how to apply at Government24.
If you use Government24, you must apply online and receive it by mail or at the nearest community center. If you visit the community center right away, you will have to wait about 3 hours, so it is best to apply online in advance and arrive at the time when the civil complaint processing is complete.

3. Internet application and issuance on the Auto 365 website
If you want to apply online and apply for issuance all at once, please use this method. You can reissue your vehicle registration certificate through the online registration issuance service operated by the Auto 365 website.
The Auto 365 website is a newly renewed website of ecar.go.kr, a public portal for automobile complaints. It will be useful to know because you can access information related to automobiles, such as vehicle registration cost inquiry and used car sales search.
