After taking the national nutritionist exam in December last year
I finally got my nutritionist license!
There are many documents needed to get a nutritionist license,
and it was a little confusing at first
I even changed my license photo, so I had a lot to prepare. For those of you who are getting it for the first time like me,
I’ll tell you how to get a nutritionist license + how to change the photo 😀
List of documents required for issuing a nutritionist license

To get a nutritionist license,
you need a total of 5 documents.
1. Application for issuance
2. Graduation certificate
3. Doctor’s diagnosis
4. Transcript
5. Course completion certificate
And if you want to change the license photo at the same time,
1. Original personal information request form
2. Copy of ID card
3. 1 3.5x4cm photo
You will also need

Application for issuance
You can fill out and print the license issuance application form on the Korea Health Personnel Licensing Examination Institute
site
Certificate of license qualification > Issuance of license qualification > Application and inquiry for license qualification

You can print by filling out all the information and right-clicking the mouse to print
button!
Graduation certificate
Graduation certificate and transcript can be issued from various sites
I paid 1,500 won per one at ceripa, which is connected to the school homepage, and printed it out after issuing it.
* However, certificates of expected graduation are not accepted,
so you must issue a graduation certificate that you have received after the graduation ceremony. *
(Hygienists can use certificates of expected graduation)
Transcript
You must highlight the course type, year of admission, and credits earned on the transcript with a highlighter!
At this time, you can mark the corresponding subject by looking at the statutory subject name and
similarly recognized subject name on the course completion certificate 🙂

You can write it on the computer or print it out and write it directly

Doctor’s diagnosis
You can get a doctor’s diagnosis from a nearby hospital that can issue a nutritionist license
but when I looked into it,
there weren’t as many hospitals that could do it as I thought
For your information, public health centers don’t issue doctor’s diagnosis
for licenses, but general hospitals do
I called two general hospitals near Songpa,
but one said only hygienists can issue them, and the other said
only nutritionists can issue them, so I was wondering what to do
They said that a nutritionist’s diagnosis can also be used as a hygienist,
so I decided to get two of these!
Police Hospital – No nutritionist, no hygienist (30,000 won)
Hansol Hospital – No nutritionist (40,000 won), no hygienist
I got 2 doctor’s certificates from Hansol Hospital
and paid an additional 1,000 won,
and got them issued for a total of 41,000 won
The wording on the doctor’s certificate for issuing a nutritionist license is
Not a mentally ill person, an infectious disease patient, or an addict of drugs, marijuana, or psychotropic drugs
The above must be included
If there is no phrase “infectious disease patient” like in the first picture,
it will not be recognized, so make sure to check that the word “infectious disease patient” is included before you print it out 😀
Documents for changing driver’s license photos
Documents required to change driver’s license photos are
1. Original personal information request form
2. ID card Copy
3. 1 3.5x4cm photo

Please attach 1 photo you want to change here!
You can copy the ID card at home or at a stationery store
Just copy it on A4 paper

I sent it by express registered mail from the post office on March 13
and it arrived at the National Institute of Science and Technology on March 14
and I received the license on March 24
It took about 2 weeks in total!
