Spring is here now~
I was so upset when I saw my kids playing games at home these days…
I couldn’t stay at home on a warm weekend, so I looked for a park near my house and found Jukmiryeong Peace Parkㅎ
Jukmiryeong Peace Park is located next to Osan Smith War Memorial, and it is a place where children can learn about the pain and history of war in a fun way, so it is a place you must visit at least once, but today, I went to the sand playground behind the Smith War Memorial building to play in the sand. First, it is located near the Seoma intersection on National Road No. 1,
and there is the main parking lot for the Smith War Memorial, but it is always full~
So~~ If you go a little further and make a right turn~
There is another parking lot~~
This place is so crowded on weekends that it is also full
If you follow the road after parking, you will see the Smith War Memorial building~
Today’s destination is behind the building There is a Jukmiryeong Peace Park!!
The park has a playground for children to play and a sandbox.
These days, there really aren’t many places where our children can touch sand,
so we have to go out and look for them. ㅠ
There’s a large lawn in front, so it’s nice to bring a mat and have a picnic.
But there’s no shade…
On my way, I bought Kyochon chicken, sushi, donuts, and drinks from the shopping complex in front of Osan Station.
It was a pleasant meal in the spring sunshine for the first time in a long time. ㅎ
The kids played in the sand~
My husband and I went for a light walk.
If you cross the airplane right next to it,
there’s a walking path~
If you follow the walking path,
there’s a large Taegeukgi and a statue.
It was a place where you could observe the North Korean army moving south,
when the weather was good, you could see all the way to Suwon during the war.

Osan citizens get a 50% discount
Even if you just go to the rest area, it costs more than 5,000 won to ride once
But if you ride 5 times for 5,000 won, it’s the best value for money.
How fun is it?

Next time, I have to come back to see the Smith War Memorial.
The Smith War Memorial is operated by the government for free,
So it seems like a good place for elementary school students to go.
