Car History, operated by the Korea Insurance Development Institute, is a system that allows you to know all insurance accident records from the time a new car is released. In other words, you can check detailed information such as accident history, vehicle number, owner change history, and whether it was used for business or rental car purposes.
Another advantage is that you can clearly see accident records due to other cars and negligence, as well as special insurance accident history such as theft and flooding. However, Car History has the disadvantage that you cannot check accidents of vehicles that were not covered by insurance. The inquiry fee is 5,000 won per case, and a 10,000 won coupon can be searched up to 5 times.
