Today, I am going to write about how to check and calculate the electricity bill for an apartment. Most apartment electricity bills can be checked by looking at the management fee bill issued by the management office. Since it is included when billing the management fee, you can find out by just looking at the bill without having to search separately.
However, there is a way to check your apartment electricity bill in more detail. Using the KEPCO ON app, you can check the previous month’s instructions reflected in the electricity bill, current month’s instructions, electricity bill calculation based on usage, and even the expected bill amount for next month. Please read this article for more details.

You can also easily calculate KEPCO electricity rates on the KEPCO website. There is an ‘Electricity Bill Calculator’ menu in the pop-up window, like a preview of your home’s electricity bill. Click on it and then click ‘Go to Electricity Bill Calculator’. In Select Contract Type, select Residential (Low Pressure) or Residential (High Pressure) according to your contract type, and select Conditions to suit your residential conditions.
Since it is automatically checked as residential, not applicable, etc., you must fill in the information according to your situation in order to calculate it clearly. The period of use is generally one month, and you must accurately check the amount used before adding it. Now that you have entered everything, click ‘Calculate Fee’. What is a high pressure apartment?
High-voltage apartments are those where electricity bills are not received from KEPCO and the entire apartment is under contract with one customer number, so the electricity bill for each household can be checked in the management fee details.
What if you know your customer number?
For general housing, please enter only the customer number. For high-voltage apartments, please enter your customer number and then enter your building/unit number and press the search button.
A ‘preview of your home’s electricity bill’ will appear. The previous month’s guideline and meter reading date are automatically entered, and the content we need to write down is ‘current meter value.’ If you enter the current meter value, you can check not only the estimated usage (electricity bill) for the month but also the real-time usage (electricity bill).

If you do not know your customer number, you can look up your customer number using the following procedure. Click the Check Customer Number button.
