What is Child Support for Teenage Parents?
A pilot project to support childrearing expenses of KRW 200,000 per month per child to adolescent parents (24 years of age or younger) who are simultaneously raising children while studying and working.



Eligible for application
📌 Based on age
Teenager parent households aged 24 or younger
First half: Based on those born on or after January 1, 1998
Second half: Based on those born on or after July 1, 1998
※ If you are selected as a target for support by meeting the applicable age criteria at the time of application, your age qualification will be maintained until the first half and second half of each year.

📌 Eligibility Criteria
A young couple raising one or more children
A juvenile couple includes legal and de facto marriage couples, and in case of de facto marriage, selection is made after de facto marriage confirmation and factual investigation
A child who is being raised by an adolescent parent must live with at least one of the parents according to resident registration.
※ Other exceptions Decision on whether to apply after fact-finding with the burden of proof, such as de facto marriage, non-residence in the same household, etc.

📌 Based on income
60% or less of the income standard for each household member in 2023 (calculated separately for youth parent households only)
After adding up the father’s and mother’s income for one year and processing them into average monthly income, those with 60% or less of the median income by number of household members in 2023 are selected as support recipients.
Income verification documents (first half: 21 years, second half: 22 years) Proof of each parent
Household members with income: Proof of income amount (issued by the National Tax Service)
Household members without income: Fact certificate (issued by the National Tax Service)
Recipients of basic livelihood security, the next upper class: replaced with a certificate of qualification

How to apply
Dong community service center at the address of the child
▪ Parental age, child custody status, income investigation, etc. Notification of conformity/unsuitability sent within 30 days from the date of application

Income O: Income Amount Certificate, Income X: Sisal Certificate
▪ Family relationship certificate 1 copy
▪ 1 copy of resident registration
▪ 1 copy of pension bankbook (Applicable persons: long-distance marriage certificate, certificate of national registration, recipient, certificate of borrowing money)
