노인맞춤돌봄서비스 신청방법Customized care service for the elderly
Eligible for support: Those aged 65 or older who actually live alone, regardless of their place of residence on resident registration and whether or not they live together, and who fall under the following cases:

Exclusions
A person who is receiving the same or similar in-home services through a national treasury project
– Comprehensive elderly care service
– Long-term care insurance for the elderly
– Activities support project for the disabled
– Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Veterans Service
– Other social service projects (vouchers) implemented by government ministries and local governments conduct regular visits and phone calls to confirm safety or provide equivalent in-home services.

※ However, in consideration of the level of protection required for seniors living alone and the purpose and content of the services provided, in the case of beneficiaries of simple goods (beneficiaries of side dish delivery, lunch box delivery, welfare equipment beneficiaries), non-no care, etc., duplicate services may be provided in consultation with city, county, and district officials.

Safety confirmation
– (Service contents) Safety confirmation such as communication service, health status and living conditions confirmation, information provision, weather warning safety confirmation, environmental changes and needs identification, ICT technology and private resource utilization, etc.
– (Cycle) Conduct direct verification (visit) at least once a week and indirectly check (by phone) at least twice a week for one elderly person living alone ※ Establish a service plan according to the required level of protection (grade) and determine the safety verification cycle and method. Consideration ※ In the case of target households with safety concerns, such as those with alcoholism, an accompanying visit is made using assisting personnel.

– (Safety confirmation when weather and disaster warnings are issued) City, county, district and implementing agencies prepare comprehensive protection measures in preparation for the occurrence of weather and disaster warnings to strengthen safety confirmation and conduct daily safety checks when weather and disaster warnings are issued.
※ When working on weekends or public holidays due to the issuance of weather or disaster warnings, allowances are paid or alternative days off are provided according to separate instructions, taking actual working hours into account. – (Service result registration) Safety check results are registered in the Vulnerable Elderly Support System.

life education
– (Service contents) Providing programs to expand social networks and provide information to seniors living alone
※ Establishment of life education plan for seniors living alone considering the number of seniors living alone and regional characteristics who need life education – (Education cycle) At least once a month (1 hour per session) for each life manager, at least once per quarter for each senior living alone.
– (Education content) Active use of longevity notes, dementia prevention education, special weather warning response plan education, etc.
※ Actively utilize public offering projects such as the Comprehensive Support Center for the Elderly Living Alone and the Community Chest of Korea, etc. – Organize various life education programs by mobilizing private resources, etc.
– (Training location) Considering all matters related to education, it will be conducted in places that are easy for seniors living alone to access, such as community centers, welfare centers, senior centers, and other public places.
– (Number of people trained) 5 or more people (general senior citizens other than project beneficiaries can participate)
※ In areas where it is difficult to secure a number of people, such as remote islands, lifestyle education with the participation of two or more people is recognized.
※ If lifestyle education is difficult for seniors living alone due to characteristics such as health status or housing location, record related documents and provide 1:1 education – Enter the results of lifestyle education into the support system for vulnerable seniors.

Service connection
– Discover and connect welfare resources according to the comprehensive assessment plan and the subject’s regular service circumstances
– Actively discover and link government-supported projects and local community private welfare resources
– The service manager consults with the service provider (institutions, organizations, individuals, etc.) to decide whether to provide the service and the method (time, cycle, etc.) and informs the life manager.
※ If it is difficult to negotiate with the service provider for service connection, the service manager requests cooperation from the city, county, or district – The results of the service connection are input into the support system for vulnerable seniors – Link the service provider with the households eligible for service support and conduct a follow-up inspection
