A representative government-backed loan for the unemployed is Sunshine Loan Youth.
Sunshine Loan Youth is broadly divided into job seekers and young people who are between the ages of 19 and 34 and have an annual income of 35 million won or less.
How to apply
In order to more quickly resolve the financial difficulties of college students and young people due to COVID-19, we will submit documents and conduct non-face-to-face screening through the app instead of visiting the Microfinance Integration Support Center.
If you do not complete financial education, you cannot enter into a guarantee agreement. Financial education is recognized as having been completed only if there is a record of completion within 6 months from the date of application for guarantee (completion date on the education completion certificate).
After signing the guarantee agreement, you can apply for a loan from the bank of your choice by comparing preferential services among the participating banks (Industrial Bank, Shinhan Bank, and Jeonbuk Bank).

For jeonse loans for unemployed youth, government-supported loans such as youth-customized jeonse loans can be used. Youth-customized rental loans can be applied to young people aged 19 to 34 who do not own a home and whose combined annual income is KRW 70 million or less.
The youth-customized jeonse loan is a jeonse loan system for the unemployed that lends the jeonse deposit or monthly rent to young people at a low interest rate, guaranteed by the Housing and Urban Fund.
