Even if I do nothing at all and put it in a bank deposit, I can get an interest of about 1%, so the 2.5% interest in installments is an attractive interest rate that I can afford within my investment style.

If you are thinking of paying 100% in cash,
“Payment by credit card” is good.
The credit card company gives you cash back in the sense of “Use our card to increase your performance.”
It will be different for each card company, but the maximum seems to be 2.5% right now.
If you pay 70 million won in a lump sum, it will be deposited into your 17.5 million won account.
But it’s probably excluding tax. I don’t know exactly because I haven’t received it. hehe
Even when paying in installments, there is cashback.
1. There is a promotion directly from the card company,
2. There is cashback paid by card salespersons for their performance.
In case 1, there is one thing that you need to take a good look at,
I will explain using Samsung Card Direct Auto that I used.
If you look at the red line in the screenshot above, you can see that if you select the cashback promotion, the installment interest rate will rise to the 3% range.
So what you can do with 2.5% installment, you get 1% or less cashback and the installment goes up to 3%.
In fact, it’s actually a motherfucker haha No… If you look closely, it’s going to be even more damaging.
You have to pay 0.5% increased interest for 5 years (60 months), but the cashback is only 1%.
It’s a loss of 1.5%.ㅡ,.ㅡa
Absolutely no bank/card/insurance company do anything to lose money.

Card payment methods and precautions
Tesla doesn’t have a car master (young man), so you have to pay for yourself and buy insurance.
So, let’s share the trial and error I experienced while paying with a credit card.
Basically, the card payment method is:
The advisor texts me.
The payment amount is written in the text, and if you call that number, you will be connected to ARS and payment will be made by entering your card number/password.
1. Application for payment to the credit card company is made on the same day.
Car payments are large and should not be affected by your card limit.
So, you must first fill out the “Payment Application” form on the credit card company’s website or app before paying.
Since this registration is valid for 24 hours, you do not need to apply a few days in advance, you can do it the same day.
If you do it in advance the day before, it will be annoying to have to do it again the next day ^^
2. Tell the Tesla advisor it’s “one-time card payment”.
Whether I pay in installments or in a lump sum, the credit card company does it.
Just say “one-time card payment” to Tesla.
However, there is “installment plan provided by Tesla”. That’s an exception.
3. The amount you enter when applying for card payment must match 100%.
My payment amount was 67,347,000 won.
However, in the payment amount input form of the credit card company, the unit of thousands was rounded up.
I don’t know if it’s because it’s an installment payment, but anyway, when I input 67,350,000 and proceed with the payment, “Payment failed” came out and I did it for a while.
In the end, I contacted the advisor and asked to send the payment ARS back at 67,340,000 won, minus the thousand won, and I completed the payment by rewriting the card payment application according to the amount.
The remaining 7,000 won was sent to the Tesla account.
(I was cumbersome to re-write the original application, so I said, “I’m going to lose 3,000 won, so please just pay 67,350,000 won.”
[Card payment details and deposit details] I did not pay in units of KRW 1,000, so I deposited only KRW 7,000.
In this way, after some twists and turns, I was able to finish the payment.
