6 types of Subway bread
My favorite bread is honey oats. Because it’s covered in oat flour, it has a more nutty taste, so I choose honey oat bread every time I order. Among Subway’s six types of bread, the bread with the lowest calories is Wheat, which has 192 kcal. Surprisingly, the bread with the highest calories is flatbread, with 467 kcal. It’s almost 2.5 times the size of wit bread! Many dieters also eat flatbreads, but choosing wheat bread rather than flatbread seems to be helpful for dieting.
The most popular types of sandwiches are Egg Mayo, Italian BMT, Subway Club, and Steak & Cheese. My favorite sandwich is the steak & cheese menu in the past, but these days, I like the roast chicken or turkey menu.
First, select the sandwich menu you want. You can choose between 15cm and 30cm sandwiches, and 15cm is basically one serving. Subway wants to sell a variety of salads as well as sandwiches, so even people who can’t eat bread can enjoy fresh vegetables and toppings in salads. If you decide to order a sandwich, choose the bread you want. There are six types of Subway bread, and the bread with the lowest calories is wheat.
And choose the basic cheese. There are three types of cheese: American cheese, shredded cheese, and mozzarella cheese. You can choose the cheese you want. I usually choose American cheese. Then the staff asked if I could heat it in the oven, and since it tastes better when the cheese is slightly melted, I asked them to heat it.^^
While the bread is warming up nicely, pay for the toppings you want to add (pass if you don’t have any), choose which vegetables you don’t want to add among the basic vegetables, and choose the sauce. In my case, I tend not to add additional toppings, and request that among the basic vegetables provided, I exclude pickles and add more jalapenos and olives. Pickles have a too strong taste, so I personally don’t like them when put on sandwiches.
Among the vegetables provided as standard, many people dislike cucumbers, so feel free to omit whatever you want. Please add a lot of pickles, olives, and jalapenos. Requests are available. I really like spicy jalapeños, so be sure to add a lot of jalapeños! I requested it.
It is said that there are different types of sauce that go well with each sandwich, but the most delicious one is the sauce that suits your taste, right? First, I recommend trying a combination of several sauces that you like. Since I eat a lot, I like the ranch + honey mustard combination, or the ranch + sweet chili or hot chili combination. I wrote down the names and descriptions of less familiar sources rather than familiar ones. I’ve never tried a sauce called Southwest Chipotle, but seeing the description makes me want to try it! Next time I order from Subway, I’ll have to try that sauce. The lowest calorie sauce types are salt, pepper, and red wine vinegar, followed by mustard, smoked barbecue, and honey mustard. I was surprised that the smoked barbecue sauce had fewer calories than I expected.
Lastly, you can choose whether you want to purchase it as a set or individually. I usually just eat the sandwich alone or add a drink if I’m really thirsty^^
This is the Türkiye Bacon Avocado menu that I most recently ordered and tried. I love avocado so much that I ordered it and it was just as delicious! The bread was, of course, honey oat bread, the cheese was American cheese, and among the basic vegetables, pickles were excluded, and the sauce was a combination of honey mustard and wrench. The total price came to 6,900 won, which may seem expensive for a meal, but it’s great for when you need a quick meal, when you don’t have an appetite, or when you want fresh vegetables and savory bread! I don’t think there is a better option than Subway^^
