Starbucks Stars can be earned through beverage purchases and various other methods at Starbucks.
If you pay with a credit card or cash, you will not earn points or increase your membership level. You must pay with your Starbucks Card.
How to earn stars is as follows.
After registering as a Starbucks member, you must register a physical card or receive a mobile card through Gift to Me and place an order with the Starbucks card (recharge) to earn stars. If charging is inconvenient, you can use the automatic spring charge function in the app every month.
The most important benefit is that you can receive a free coupon every time you earn 12 stars. This benefit applies only to Starbucks Gold level holders.
Starbucks tier benefits
The maximum earning method for each Starbucks is as follows.
Earn up to 7 coupons after ordering over 10,000 won: Choose an event drink and gift it to yourself > Pay over 10,000 won with a Starbucks card > Add to tumbler
You can check it through the Starbucks Rewards at the bottom of the receipt or the Starbucks app.

Starbucks Star Earning Criteria
– Receive 1 star per visit per receipt.
– Payment of 1,000 won or more is required.
– If you place an additional order after placing an order, you must do so at least every 3 minutes to earn stars.
– Even if you pay with a gifticon or coupon, you can earn stars by paying an additional 1,000 won or more with your Starbucks card.
– When using a tumbler, 1 eco-star is added for each cup of drink.
– The star will disappear after 1 year.
1 additional star for every KRW 10,000 earned at Starbucks
In 2022, an additional 1 star per KRW 10,000 payment amount will be applied. The event has been going on for several years, so there is a high probability that it will continue in the future.
Starbucks Star Point Personal Cup Reward (Eco Star)
– If you order in an individual cup, you will earn one Eco Star per drink.
– You can get a 400 won discount per glass instead of eco stars. However, the overlapping discount of 400 won with Eco Star is not applied.
– Individual cup reward benefits do not apply when using free drink coupons.
