You may need a copy of your bankbook if you are doing financial work at work or in various situations. At this time, I used to scan my bankbook, but it turned out that I could easily get it as an image file or print it from the bank’s website. When you go to the transaction history inquiry screen, there is an area to adjust the inquiry conditions at the top, and there is a part called account information and a description of your account at the bottom. In the ‘Other business connection’ section, press the button to print a copy of the bankbook in Korean or English.
Then, you can see the well-organized image without having to scan a copy of the passbook. Here, click the ‘Print Screen’ button in the upper right corner.
When you press it, six buttons appear at the top. You can print it right away by clicking Print, or click Save to receive it as an image file. It would be better to save it separately so that you do not repeat the same process multiple times.
On mobile, you can easily check a copy of your bankbook using the Shinhan SOL application. Just like on PC, you save a copy, select the account you want to check, and then touch Search to enter.
When you log in, you will see the account details inquiry page. Tap the three-dot icon just below the X.
Then, you will see various menus to choose from, and at the top there is an item called ‘View a copy of your bankbook’. You can check it right away by clicking on it.
You can select Korean or English from the tab at the top. You can also save and print a copy of the passbook by clicking Save or Share below in a way that is convenient for you.
