To change your name online, first connect to “E-Supreme Court (https://ecfs.scourt.go.kr/ecf/index.jsp)”.

First, click “Family Relations Registration Fee” and secondly, click “Application for Name Change Permission”.
Or, please search for “rename permission” in the search field!!
On the next page, for important matters, click “No personal incident” and click OK.
Then “Approve Consent” and “Fill Parties” or “Fill Representative”.
First, click “Find a court of jurisdiction” to select the court of jurisdiction where you currently reside on the resident registration certificate and click Save.
Then, click “Enter party” and enter the details.
Reason for application
After completing “Input party”, “Purpose of application” is automatically entered.
Now the next thing is important.
As mentioned earlier, the judge reads the reason for the application and approves the name change.
Then we have to write politely and in detail.
