What is a car inspection reservation service?
This is a service that allows you to make an online reservation by entering the vehicle registration number and resident registration number (corporation/business number) on the website of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority Cyber Inspection Center. Type of car inspection
Vehicles registered in air environment regulated areas are subject to comprehensive inspection, and vehicles registered in other regions are subject to regular inspection.
◆ Periodic inspection
It is a regular inspection every inspection cycle after new registration, and the inspection cycle differs depending on the vehicle model and inspection date.
– Passenger car (individual): Inspection every year after initial registration
– Passenger car (for business use): Inspection every year after initial registration
– Light, small vans and cargo: Inspect every year
◆ Comprehensive inspection
Periodic inspection + exhaust gas-related detailed inspection = comprehensive inspection
Vehicles registered in some areas (Yongin, Cheongju, Pohang, Cheonan, Changwon, Jeonju, etc.) among the metropolitan area, 6 metropolitan cities, and cities with a population of 500,000 or more, which are air environment regulated areas, are subject to comprehensive inspection.

How to use the car inspection reservation?
■ STEP 1.
On the Korea Transportation Safety Authority’s Cyber Inspection Office website (https://www.cyberts.kr/srs/main.do), select the vehicle inspection reservation item and select [Reserve vehicle inspection].
■ STEP 2.
Enter the vehicle registration number and the first 6 digits of the resident registration number (business number, corporation number), and select [Vehicle Search].
■ STEP 3.
Select the inspection station and reservation date, pay the inspection fee, and the reservation is complete.
What ifthe vehicle inspection date does not arrive?
