Information available through the Taxi Lost and Found Customer Satisfaction Center
If you know the taxi license plate number, you can inquire at the customer information center number depending on whether the taxi you used is a corporate taxi or a private taxi.
If you check the service center number for corporate taxis and private taxis at the relevant taxi association center by region and tell us the taxi license plate number, we can connect you to the driver or receive a lost item confirmation.

For Kakao Taxi
Connectable via Kakao T app
There are many people who use the Kakao Taxi app.
If you leave something behind while using Kakao Taxi, you can connect directly to the Kakao T app.
If you press [My Information] at the bottom of [Kakao T App], [Use History] appears.
If you look at [Use History], you will see Kakao Taxi information that you have used for 3 days.
It shows the departure, arrival, operating time, driver’s name and taxi information of the taxi you used.
If you press the three dots button at the top of the taxi information for which you have lost your item, you can talk to the driver.

If after 3 days you cannot connect to the driver
You can call the Kakao Taxi customer center to retrieve lost items.

If there is no taxi information at all
You can report a lost item on the Taxi Lost and Found website
1) Taxi lost and found service available on each local taxi transportation business association website
If you paid for the taxi in cash, do not know the taxi information, or find out that the item was lost after a few days, you can report the lost item or check the found item at the online lost and found center.
If you check the Lost and Found Report Center on the website of the National Association of Taxi Transportation Business Associations, you will see the website of each local taxi transportation business association. Upon checking, the lost and found service was not operating in Daegu, Ulsan, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungbuk, Gyeongnam, and Jeju.
In other regions, it is possible to report a lost item through the taxi association website operated by each region, so using the site seems to be one way.

The Public Transportation Lost and Found Center can register not only taxis, but also lost and found items such as city buses, town buses, and taxis. One of the ways is to check if the item you lost is on the list of found items.
