However, can credit cards be issued to those with low credit or bad credit?
To answer your question, there is a credit card (‘Haetsal Loan’) for those with low credit or bad credit.
So today, let’s look at ‘Credit Cards for Those with Low Credit or Bad Credit’.
‘Bad credit’ generally refers to a person who cannot make any type of credit transactions, such as new loans or card issuances, due to not being able to repay debts such as bank loans or credit cards on time. The official term is “defaulter.”
Bad credit can also be due to unpaid mobile phone bills, electricity bills, and taxes, and this can not only restrict economic activities, but also lead to disadvantages such as property seizure and restrictions on employment at financial institutions.
So, can I just repay all the unpaid or overdue amounts? Even if you repay, your non-payment/late payment record will be recorded or preserved for a certain period (3-5 years), which will restrict your long-term financial transactions.
The criteria for bad credit are applied to the following cases:
① Overdue loan payments for 3 months or more
(However, individual housing loans with installment repayment methods are overdue for 9 months or more)
② Overdue credit card payments, card loans, or installment loans of 50,000 won or more for 3 months or more
③ Overdue taxes (water, electricity, etc.) or fines of 5 million won or more for 1 year or more
The ‘Haetsal Loan Card’ is a product that supports credit card issuance to expand the financial product options of low-credit (or bad credit) people who are excluded from installment/point benefits due to difficulties in issuing credit cards and lead to sound consumption.

– General credit card holders
– Those who have applied for or are in the process of personal rehabilitation, bankruptcy, or credit recovery
However, those who are faithful repayers may apply as an exception
(Those who have been repaying without delinquency for 6 months or more during personal rehabilitation/workout)
– Those with a delinquent payment record
– Application procedures
– Application documents
– Apply for a Haetsal Loan Card (QR code)
