There are four ways to obtain an international driver’s license. Three are to go directly to the site and apply for issuance, and one is to apply online. In order to visit in person and receive issuance, you will need your ID and a photo taken within 6 months. If there is no waiting list, it will be issued within 30 minutes.
If you bring the materials and fees to the driver’s license test center and police station, you can get your license issued right away. It’s not an earth belt. It’s a police station. And it’s a driver’s license test center, not a driving school.
The validity period of the international license is one year from the date of issuance. Don’t forget that the validity expires when the period elapses, and if you are a frequent visitor to foreign countries, you may forget and go to the airport without renewing it, so prepare it in advance.
What if you found out on the day of departure?
You don’t have to worry too much. You can get it at Incheon Airport. Issuance is possible at the Police Security Center located on the 3rd floor of Terminal 1 and the Government Complex located on the 2nd floor of Terminal 2.
However, the problem is that it is not open 24 hours, but operates from 09:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and is closed on weekends and holidays. Please note that we are not open for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00.
