Those eligible for training are those who inherit a private taxi transportation business license pursuant to Article 19, Paragraph 3 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Passenger Transport Business Act within 3 years from the date of completion of training and intend to directly succeed to the business, and those who wish to directly succeed to the business within 3 years from the date of completion of training. A person who wishes to transfer a private taxi transport business license pursuant to Article 19, Paragraph 9, and a person who wishes to become a designated driver for a private taxi transport business pursuant to Article 21, Paragraph 3 of the Enforcement Rules within 3 years from the date of completion of training.

Applications for training are 100% done online, and you can access the traffic safety experience education website and use the training reservation and personal taxi training application menus. The training is a 5-day course, totaling 40 hours, and consists of 8 hours of theoretical training, 22 hours of practical training, 8 hours of comprehensive evaluation, and 2 hours of other training. Evaluation scores are divided into 20 points for writing, 20 points for function (1), 30 points for function (2), and 30 points for driving evaluation. The training completion requirements are those who have completed theoretical and practical training and earned more than 60% of the total score in the comprehensive evaluation.
Documents to bring and require when entering (registering) training include a driver’s license, taxi driver’s license, and a training fee of 520,000 won (as of the current date). Accommodation and meal expenses may apply when using the center, and you must obtain a private taxi transportation business license within 3 years of completing training. If three years have passed since completing the training and you wish to transfer your private taxi transportation business license, you must complete the training again.
