Care service for anyone in Pyeongtaek City
Pyeongtaek City’s Anyone Care Service is for those who have difficulty moving due to a sudden accident or chronic illness, find it difficult to receive help from family, and are financially burdened with finding a caregiver, regardless of income or age. This is a service that provides public assistance up to 1.5 million won.

Anyone eligible for care service support is any citizen of Pyeongtaek who needs care. Those eligible for support are those who meet all three criteria below.
1. Cases where it is difficult to move around alone or perform independent daily activities
2. When family members who can assist are absent or unable to assist.
3. When public care services are not used or an unavoidable gap occurs during service use.
Pyeongtaek City provides five major care services (living care, companion care, residential safety, meal support, and temporary protection services) worth up to 1.5 million won per year. Support costs are based on median income: full support for those below 120% of the median income, 50% support for those above 120% and below 150%, and self-pay for those above 150%.
Here, the median income is the income of a household that falls in the middle of the income ranking of all households. Please refer to the table below for the median income as of 2024.

Anyone’s care service is provided in 15 cities and counties in Gyeonggi-do, and Pyeongtaek City provides basic services in 5 areas.
