There are two ways to change the name and address of the credit card company.

▶ When changing directly to a credit card company
There is a hassle of having to call each of the 8 credit card companies and change them.
Some credit card companies allow you to change your card right away with a phone call, while others require you to fax the required documents.

It is recommended to check the merchant number of each card company before calling the card company. When connected to ARS, you can select a merchant, enter the relevant business number or merchant number, and connect with a counselor.

You can apply through the management agency of the card terminal you are currently using (POS device, wired terminal, portable terminal, etc.). It takes longer to process than applying directly to the credit card company, and takes about 3 to 7 business days from the credit card company.
Because it is a proxy application, there is no choice but to incur costs. Each VAN agency incurs a different cost, so check it carefully before proceeding. In the case of a sole proprietorship, a verification text is sent to the representative’s mobile phone number to receive the verification number.
If you are a corporation or co-representative, you need a business certificate (for electronic tax invoice issuance). You must verify your e-signature by e-mail to apply with your credit card company.
Please note that even if you are a sole proprietor, an electronic signature of an accredited certificate is required if you are a co-representative.
When changing the name or address, you must also change the card terminal used.
You must contact the card terminal company that you purchased/managed/installed. The changed slip (receipt) will be printed only when the information is changed on the computer and the re-download process of the card terminal is completed.
