What is the National Happiness Card?
The government provides gift certificates that can be exchanged for goods or specific goods to consumers through the voucher system. If paid in cash, it can be seen as a ‘subsidy’. There are pregnancy/childbirth, diapers/powdered milk, energy vouchers, social service business, childcare business, childcare subsidy, childcare subsidy, etc. necessary for life cycle.
In the past, when I applied for a voucher, there was the hassle of having to issue each card. Currently, 17 types of benefits supported by the government are provided as national vouchers. In other words, it can be used with a single Kookmin Happiness Card.
