City gas savings cashback is a system that returns cash back based on the amount of city gas used from December in the winter to March of the following year if the city gas used saves more than 3% compared to the previous year’s usage. The maximum amount is 30% and can be rounded off to the nearest 10 won.
Only city gas rate plan users for home heating can participate. This applies if you live in an apartment with individual heating or central heating, but does not apply if you live in an apartment with district heating. Households without city gas consumption data from the previous year or users of cooking rate plans cannot apply.

You can only receive it if you save 3% or more compared to the same period last year. At this time, payments are made in three sections according to the savings rate. The more you save, the higher the cashback payment price. (30% limit)
However, a temperature correction coefficient for natural decrease due to temperature rise will be applied. As the winter temperature naturally decreases by 5% when the temperature rises by 1 degree compared to the average temperature, the standard is changed to 8% when the temperature rises by 1 degree.

Mr. A used 400㎥ of city gas from December 2022 to March 2023. Starting this year, I have made a firm decision to save on city gas bills. I wore underwear while maintaining an appropriate indoor temperature of 18 to 20 degrees. As a result, 300㎥ was used from December 2023 to March 2024. As a result, we saved 100㎥ compared to the previous year.
1. You can save about 7% by lowering the indoor temperature by just 1 degree.
▶ For every 1 degree increase from 20 degrees, heating costs increase by more than 15%. If you turn off the boiler and turn it on again, city gas consumption will increase. Set the appropriate indoor heating temperature between 18 and 20 degrees. Additionally, if the indoor humidity is maintained at 40-60%, heat can be transferred quickly and the temperature in the house can quickly rise.
