자대배치조회 및 신병부대배치조회(육군,해군,공군,해병대) Unit placement inquiry and new unit placement inquiry (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps)

You may have a friend or family member who has recently entered the military. When you enter the military like this, you will be in a training center for the first 5 weeks, but after the training camp ends, you will be in a place called a ‘unit’ for 1 year and 5 months. At this time, some people want to know which unit their children, friends, or acquaintances are assigned to. You can check these unit assignments on the Internet page. Today, we will learn about how to check the placement of new recruits.

First of all, it is ‘Army’. You can check the Army on the Republic of Korea Army website (link). When you enter here, you will initially see the basic screen like this. On this basic screen, click on the text that says ‘New recruit unit assignment inquiry’ in the ‘Frequently used menu’ section at the bottom.

After clicking, the next page will contain information related to recruits. If you write down the recruit’s name, date of birth, enlistment date, and enlistment unit and click the ‘Search’ button below, you will be able to check the recruit’s unit assignment information.

For reference, this ‘time to inform of unit assignment’ may vary slightly depending on the type of training center or education unit the enlisted person entered. At the bottom of the inquiry page, you can check the unit deployment time depending on the training center. Above, we learned about how to view ‘army unit deployment’ in this way.

Next, let’s look at how to check unit placement based on the ‘Marine Corps’. The Marine Corps can also be searched on the Republic of Korea Marine Corps website (direct link). You can check the unit placement by clicking on the text that says ‘Unit Placement Inquiry’ at the bottom of the homepage’s initial screen.

You can check the unit assignment results by writing down the name, date of birth, etc. of the new soldier who enlisted here and clicking the ‘Search’ button next to it.

Next is the Navy. The Navy can be found on the Naval Education Command website (direct link). After entering here, select the type of soldier in the ‘Platoon Placement’ section in the middle of the initial screen, write down your date of birth and name, and then press the ‘Search’ button to check your platoon placement information.

Lastly, let’s look at how to check Air Force unit deployment. The Air Force can be found on the Air Force Training Command website (direct link). After entering here, please click on the text that says ‘Enlistment selection/assignment inquiry’ in the menu in the center of the initial screen.

When you click, you will first see something called ‘enlistment screening result inquiry’ on the next page. Instead of this, you can check your unit placement (assignment location) by clicking on the ‘Assignment location result inquiry’ on the left tab. If you write your name and last digit of your resident registration number here, you can check the related results.
