택시운전자격시험 일정– Holders of driver’s licenses of class 1 or 2 ordinary license or higher
– Those who are over 20 years old as of the test application date
– Those with more than 1 year of driving experience (this is the period of driving license held as of the test date, excluding cancellation and suspension periods)
– Those who have had their taxi driving qualifications revoked for more than 1 year
– Persons who do not fall under Paragraphs 3 and 4 of Article 24 of the Passenger Transport Service Act
– Applicants judged to be suitable for detailed driving aptitude test (implemented by Korea Transportation Safety Authority)

– In-person application: 18 qualification test centers nationwide, including the Seoul Guro Test Center of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority
– Test application fee: 11,500 won
– Required items: Driver’s license, 3.5×4.5cm color photo taken within 6 months

1. Special test 1: Those who have acquired existing qualifications but wish to acquire qualifications in other regions
2. Special test 2: Those who have driven a commercial vehicle accident-free for more than 3 years in the past 4 years prior to the test date
Or a person who has received an accident-free driver or meritorious driver award according to Article 146 of the Road Traffic Act.
– Test cycle: 4 times daily (based on Korea Transportation Safety Authority permanent testing site)
– Test method: CBT (Computer Based Test)
– Passing criteria: score 60% or more of the total score (100 points/total number of questions)
* Announcement of successful candidates: Immediately after completion of exam (certificate issuance): Immediately issued upon passing
– Fee: Test application fee (KRW 11,500)/Certificate issuance (KRW 10,000)
