@ Carry-on Baggage
Carry-on baggage is limited to one per passenger, excluding personal items such as handbags, cameras, and umbrellas.
For enhanced security screening and cabin safety, please minimize carry-on baggage. If your baggage exceeds the size or weight allowed for carry-on, please check it at the baggage counter (fee applies).
@ Carry-on Baggage Standards
※ If the length of each side (length, width, height) exceeds the regulation standard, it may not be stored onboard, so we may ask you to confirm that the sum of the three sides complies with the regulation.
※ Please note that even if the length of each side is within the regulation, if the sum of the three sides exceeds the regulation, it cannot be brought in.
※ Infants who do not use seats are not allowed to bring in baggage.
@ Items to watch out for when bringing onboard
Lighters, large tripods, electronic cigarettes, smokeless cigarettes, cosmetics, nail polish, etc., swords, etc.
@ Bringing liquids onboard
Liquids are allowed onboard within a limited scope.
Details vary depending on domestic and international flights, so please refer to the information below.
＜Domestic flights in Japan＞
For domestic flights, you can bring tea and other beverages onboard.
■ Alcoholic beverages: Can be brought onboard
※ Up to 5 liters per person for products with an alcohol content of 24% to 70%
※ Products with an alcohol content of over 70% cannot be brought onboard or checked in. ■ Cosmetics and medicines (non-radioactive medicines): Allowed on board
※ 0.5kg or 0.5L per container, up to 2kg or 2L per passenger
＜International flights＞
On international flights, all liquids in containers exceeding 100ml(g) are prohibited from being brought on board.
However, the following cases are allowed on board.
■ All liquids must be placed in containers of 100ml(g) or less and placed in a transparent plastic zipper bag of 1L or less.
・Even if the container is 100ml(g) or less, if it is not in a transparent plastic zipper bag or cannot be sealed, it cannot be brought on board.
・If the container is 100ml(g) or more and is not in a transparent plastic zipper bag, it must be discarded or checked in. This also includes gel-like items (such as toothpaste or hair gel) and spray products.
■ The size of the transparent plastic zipper bag that can be brought in is 20cm in height or less x 20cm in width or less.
・Bag with a width at the bottom cannot be used because its capacity exceeds 1 liter.
■ Only 1 bag per passenger is allowed.
・Please present it separately from other baggage at the security checkpoint.
@ Bringing medicines and medical devices on board
If you need to take medicine during the flight or at the airport, you can bring the medicine with your carry-on baggage.
However, at overseas airports, you may be asked to present a label with a description of the medicine from a specialist.
Please bring the prescribed medicine in the original bag.
If you need to keep the medicine cold, please consult with the pharmacist in charge.
Peach does not store medicine in the in-flight refrigerator.
@ Bringing medical devices on board
There are restrictions on bringing them on board. For details, please refer to those who need to use medical devices.
@ Bringing baby formula/baby food on board
If you are boarding with an infant or toddler, you can bring in the amount you will use on the plane without putting it in a transparent plastic zipper bag.
@ Bringing duty-free goods on board
You can bring alcoholic beverages purchased at duty-free shops, etc. after passing through the security checkpoint.
However, if you are using a connecting flight, you must personally check them in as checked baggage after arrival.
@ Bringing musical instruments on board
You can bring them on board if they are within the allowable range of general carry-on baggage (within 115cm of the length of all three sides, and up to 10kg in weight). Please store them in the overhead compartment above your seat on board.
@ Bringing pets on board
Pets cannot be brought on board or checked in.
@ Regarding checked baggage
The Simple Peach fare does not include checked baggage fees. If necessary, please pay the fee and purchase it separately, or select the Value Peach fare that includes 1 checked baggage, or the Prime Peach fare that includes 2.
The checked baggage fee varies depending on the zone (route).
Please check the various checked baggage fee tables below.
The weight of each piece of baggage that can be checked is up to 20 kg, and the sum of the three sides is up to 203 cm.
@ How to check in baggage
*If you apply in advance online or through the call center, please receive your boarding pass at the self-check-in machine, then present your boarding pass to the staff at the Peach baggage counter and check in your baggage.
※It is more economical to apply online.
※Additional checked baggage can be added on the website up to 1 hour before the scheduled departure time.
※In the case of multi-segment reservations, additions after the first segment can be made at the call center or airport counter. A baggage reservation fee will be charged at the airport counter.
※You can change the number of baggage (e.g. 1 → 2) through the call center or airport counter. In the case of call centers or airport counters, a baggage reservation fee will be charged.
*You can also apply for checked baggage at the airport counter on the day of departure. In this case, after receiving your boarding pass at the automatic check-in machine, you must pay the checked baggage fee at the Peach baggage counter and check it in. At this time, a baggage exchange ticket will be issued, so please keep it safe until you pick up your baggage at your destination.
Please note in advance that payment at the airport counter is only possible by credit card.
【Consignment baggage when boarding two or more sections on the same day】
Currently, Peach does not provide a “transit passenger baggage service (a service that transports customers’ baggage from the departure point to the final destination)”.
If you are boarding two or more sections, please check your baggage at the departure point and pick it up at the destination.
@ Checked baggage fee for sports equipment
Sports equipment checked baggage fee is charged for golf equipment, skis and snowboarding equipment, surfboards and skimboards, kiteboards/wakeboards and windsurfing boards, bicycles, etc. In addition, Simple Peach, Value Peach, and Prime Peach are all charged by boarding section.
For sports equipment checked baggage fees, please refer to the checked baggage fee table for each zone (route).
【Note】
・You cannot apply online.
・You can pay the excess baggage fee at the call center or the airport counter.
・You can check in up to 5 pieces of baggage, including sports equipment.
The following baggage cannot be checked in:
・Sports equipment weighing 20 kg or more, or baggage with the longest side exceeding 203 cm.
(Only surfboards, windsurfing boards, skimboards, kiteboards/wakeboards can be checked in up to 220 cm in length.)
・Baggage exceeding 100 kg per person.
・Firearms for hunting and sports cannot be checked in.
・For other inquiries regarding sports equipment, please contact the call center.
The following checked baggage is classified as sports equipment.
Golf equipment
Standard-sized golf bags weighing less than 20 kg can be checked in at the above rates.
Items that can be checked in a golf bag are up to 14 golf clubs and 1 pair of golf shoes. Fees will be charged even if other items are stored or there are no items stored in the golf bag. When checking in, please wrap the entire golf bag in a protective cover (cloth, nylon, or a hard case).
If you are checking in only golf clubs, please prepare a box that can hold the golf clubs and pack them so that they can withstand impact. Please note that golf equipment is classified as sports equipment regardless of the packaging condition and the applicable checked baggage regulations apply.
Skis, snowboarding equipment
You can check in only if 1 set of skis or 1 snowboard per passenger, 1 set of ski poles, and 1 pair of ski or snowboard boots are safely packed and weigh less than 20 kg.
Surfing, Windsurfing, Skimboarding, Kiteboarding/Wakeboarding Equipment
When checking in a surfboard, windsurfing, skimboard, kiteboard/wakeboard (limited to length of 220cm or less and weight of 20kg or less including the storage case), a sports equipment checked baggage fee will be charged per storage case (maximum 2/case). Also, when checking in a kite (sail) in a separate storage case from the kiteboard/wakeboard board, it can only be checked in if the sum of the three sides is 203cm and the weight is 20kg or less. Also, if the kite (sail) of the kiteboard/wakeboard does not fit in a case of the standard size of 220cm/20kg or less, it cannot be checked in.
※Boogie boards (body boards) can be checked in as general checked baggage.
Bicycles
Only folding bicycles that are properly stored in a durable protective case such as a bicycle case or cardboard box can be checked in.
Peach does not provide bicycle cases, so please prepare your own bicycle case before boarding. Bicycles must be packed in the following condition:
・With air in the tires deflated, pedals removed
・With the handlebars fixed parallel to the frame
