The living expenses loan limit has been increased by 500,000 won from 1.5 million won to 2 million won for the first semester of 2023 only. The living expenses loan is available from January 4th to May 19th (Friday). If you wish to receive a loan equal to the increased amount, you must enter into an agreement to increase the living expenses loan.
1) Application period for living expenses loan limit increase
If you would like to take out a new loan, you can apply through the procedure below from March 13th to May 19th. If you have already received a loan but would like to increase the loan by up to 2 million won, you must refer to the procedure below and enter into a separate loan increase agreement from Friday, March 24 to May 19.
If you want to borrow up to the existing limit of 1.5 million won, you can apply until May 19th regardless of the period.
